Horizon Response
I believe that technology has spoiled today’s
generation. The article states that
people expect to work, learn and study wherever and whenever. This sense of immediacy is a direct result of
an increase in technology. Looking
around, teens and adults are constantly on their phones, ipads, and other
technologies. Likewise, although
technology makes communication easier, it allows individuals to hide behind a
computer screen or text message. As a
result, the majority of people in today’s generation lack basic face-to-face
social skills. I do admit that I enjoy having
easy access to all information, but I do not think that people should rely on
their technologies to get by in life. In order for libraries to stay in business,
they must adapt to the new technologies.
Libraries should sell computerized books other technological based
products.
